NM Residential is seeking an experienced Event Coordinator to join our amazing team.
This position is responsible for supporting resident engagement and creating a positive living experience by assisting with the planning, coordination, and implementation of resident activities and events. The Event Coordinator provides excellent customer service to prospective residents, current residents, and property staff while serving as a point of contact for community needs and inquiries.
The Event Coordinator supports property operations through administrative and organizational assistance and works closely with site teams to promote a strong sense of community. This role operates in compliance with Fair Housing laws and Equal Employment Opportunity standards.
Specific duties include:
• Providing effective customer service to prospective residents, current residents, and property staff
• Assisting with the planning and implementation of resident events and activities
• Addressing the needs of community members, prospects, and vendors
• Providing administrative and organizational support as needed
• Assisting with mail distribution and handling
• Ensuring compliance with Fair Housing laws
• Performing other duties as assigned by Management
Qualifications
Educational Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required
Work Experience and Skills
• Customer service experience
• Event planning experience preferred
• Intermediate computer and internet knowledge
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong administrative and organizational skills
• Ability to handle high-stress situations effectively
• Strong time-management and prioritization skills
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws
