Lifeguard I - Full-time / Part-time

Windsor Recreation Services is seeking skilled, reliable, and enthusiastic lifeguards to join our summer team for a fun and rewarding seasonal position running from Memorial Day weekend through August 30th, 2026. Spend your summer working outdoors at one of our great pools, enjoying the sunshine, building valuable lifesaving and leadership skills, and being part of a supportive team-oriented environment that looks great on your resume as well. Lifeguards will be responsible for supervision pool activities/events, providing aquatic instruction during swim lesson classes, enforcing safety rules, cleaning and maintaining the bathhouse and pool areas, and remaining alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or incidents as they arise. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about water safety, enjoying working with the public, and are looking for a fun, exciting, active summer job. Rate of pay: $17.35 hourly.

Minimum Qualifications:

• All applicants must be at least 16 years of age
• Be certified or willing to obtain CPR/AED & First Aid training before the start of the program
• Candidates must have Lifeguard Certification
• Successful completion of the Town's background and drug screening process (includes screening for marijuana)
