American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring TX or compact RN licensure, TNCC certification, and 2+ years of ED experience with trauma, stroke, and chest pain patients.

- Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting \n
- 10-room, 19-bed/chair unit \n
- Patient ratio of 4:1 \n
- Day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM \n
- 13-week contract assignment \n
- No on-call requirements \n
- No floating requirements \n
- No 48-hour shifts \n
- Uses MEDHOST EMR system \n
- \n
- Active RN license (TX or Compact) currently in hand \n
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (AHA or ARC) \n
- Minimum 2 years of recent ED experience required \n
- Experience with trauma, stroke, and chest pain patients required \n
- Travel experience preferred \n
- Titers must be in hand at time of consideration \n
- Royal blue scrubs required \n

- Must reside greater than 50 miles from the facility \n
- RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration and must be less than 1 week \n
- Candidates with certifications expiring within the first 30 days of start will not be considered \n
- No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months \n
- Not eligible if previously employed as permanent staff at any Community Health Systems facility within the past 2 years \n
