Compensation:

$22 - $30 hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely and safe delivery of prefabricated wall panels, floor trusses, roof trusses, and other building materials to job sites.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to maintain optimal safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the logistics team to plan efficient routes and schedules, minimizing delays and maximizing productivity.
  • Maintain clear and open communication with site managers to coordinate delivery times and address any on-site challenges.
  • Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies, ensuring compliance and safety at all times.
  • Assist in loading and unloading materials, ensuring proper handling and securing of loads to prevent damage.
  • Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption to support operational efficiency and reporting needs.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in operating Class A commercial vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Ability to conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Proven track record of adhering to DOT regulations and company safety policies.
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with site managers and logistics teams.
  • Capability to plan and execute efficient delivery routes, minimizing delays.
  • Experience in loading and unloading building materials, ensuring secure transport.
  • Ability to maintain accurate delivery records, including mileage and fuel consumption reports.
