What You Will Do
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at our facility in Naperville, IL. As the Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing all shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of orders, and maintaining inventory accuracy. This is a great opportunity for someone with excellent communication skills and a strong background in shipping and receiving to take the next step in their career. This is for a 4:00PM-12:00AM shift.
Oversee day to day operations of the warehouse, including stock moves and accurate inventories.
Collaborates with Production team to prioritize shipments based on customer requirements and production schedules then assign them to the appropriate location.
Coordinate with freight carriers and logistics providers to arrange transportation for shipments as well as maintain accurate shipping and receiving documentation.
Prepare documentation for all shipments, including packing list, shipping labels, RMA and Customs declarations.
Oversee the receiving process of raw materials, components, and finished goods.
Conducts inspections to verify the quality and accuracy of received items and reports any discrepancies.
Complete accurate ERP transactions and reconciliations.
Fulfill and processes requests from customer service managers and sales associates and meets delivery commitments.
Communicate shipping schedules, delays, and updates.
Establish quality metrics for inbound and outbound deliveries.
Assist in order packing and coverage for material handling as needed.
Maintain a neat and clean work area free of trash debris, plastic, cardboard, etc.
Perform additional duties as requested.
What You Will Bring
Ability to coordinate and motivate a team.
Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook.
Proven experience in shipping and receiving roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of shipping regulations, Customs procedures, and supply chain/logistics.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
Familiar with general warehouse procedures, policies, goals, and objectives including international shipments.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Exercise caution and strict adherence to safety policies and procedures.
Must be able to drive machinery safely and efficiently, i.e., pallet jack, sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
Ability to learn, unlearn, and relearn. The ability to learn quickly and continuously and maintain a flexible and adaptive mindset necessary for a fast-paced environment.
