WeareseekingaSeniorElectricalProjectEngineertojoinourElectricaldepartment,withpositionsavailableinBrookfield,WI,orMadison,WI.Thisroleisidealforprofessionalswhoarecommittedtodeliveringoutstandingservicetoclients.

Responsibilities

• Prepareprojectspecifications,basisofdesign,designintent,proposals,andfeebudgets.
• Coordinatethepreparationofdesigndetails,plans,anddrawingswithintheassigneddiscipline.
• Followinstructionsindesigning,estimating,managingstart-up,andplanningjobs.
• Troubleshootissuesandrefercomplexproblemstotheprojectmanager.
• Assistinsupervising,scheduling,andreviewingtheworkofprojectteammembers.
• Providelimitedcoordinationwithoutsidecontractorsandcollaboratecloselywithotherdisciplinesonmulti-disciplineprojects.
• Communicateeffectivelywithallpartiestounderstandandresolveconflicts,escalatingunresolvedissuestotheprojectmanager.
• Monitorconstructioncostsandensurequalityinstallationforassignedprojectswhiletrackingjobstatusandcontrollingcosts.
• Implementqualityassuranceprogramstoimproveclientsatisfaction.
• Assumeengineeringdutieswhenappropriateandapplystandardengineeringconceptsandprocedures.
• Reviewandintegratevendorandclientdrawings,preparingcomprehensiveconstructiondocumentsthatmeetclientandprojectteamrequirements.
• Coordinatedesigneffortsacrossdisciplinesandrecommendnecessarychangesormodificationstoprojects.
• RespondtoRFIsandpreparechangebulletinsundersupervision.
• Conductjobsitesurveys,fieldobservations,anddevelopprojectpunchlistsasneeded.
• Coordinateprojectassignmentswithotherengineersandtechnicians,delegatingtaskstoengineers,designers,andBIMtechnicians.
• Simultaneouslymanagethedrawinganddesignofcomplexprojects,researchcodeissues,anddocumentfindingstoreporttosupervisingengineers.
• Interactwithclients,assistwithtechnicalstudiesandassessments,andperformadditionaldutiesasassignedbymanagement.

Qualifications

• Aminimumof10+yearsofexperiencewithanengineeringconsultingfirmorAIEfirmispreferred,withafocusondesignforhealthcare,institutional,commercial,educational,municipal,andindustrialprojects,orconstructionengineering.
• Abachelorsdegreeinelectricalengineering,oranequivalentcombinationofeducationandexperience,isrequired.
• Aprofessionalengineerorregistereddesignerstampwithdemonstratedexperienceisessential.
• ProficiencywiththelatestversionsofRevit,Bluebeam,andMicrosoftOfficeSuite,alongwithstrongorganizationalandplanningskills,isnecessarytomanagemultipletaskseffectively.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, an understanding of job financial reports, and a commitment to continuous learning, including attending seminars and professional development programs.
