IT Systems Specialist Consultant

Symmetrio is seeking an experienced on-site IT Systems Specialist Consultant to support our client, a small non-profit organization in the Philadelphia area. The consultant will provide hands-on infrastructure and end-user support during the organization’s transition to a Managed Service Provider (MSP), serving as the on-site point of contact to ensure a smooth and seamless transition.

The ideal candidate is technically savvy, with experience in Microsoft 365, Salesforce administration, and service desk support. They are energetic, user-focused, and have strong customer service and communication skills.

This is a consulting engagement (20–30 hours/week) for approximately two months, with potential to transition to full-time.

Hourly pay: $35–$42/hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Managed Service Provider (MSP) to ensure a seamless transition of IT services.
• Provide on-site support for infrastructure, systems, and end users during the MSP onboarding.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with the MSP for timely resolution.
• Deliver friendly, responsive user support while promoting effective collaboration between internal teams and the MSP.
• Support Microsoft 365, Salesforce, and online payment systems, ensuring continuity of service.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience providing IT support for end users and infrastructure

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Salesforce administration
• Energetic, user-focused, with excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work on-site and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners
