Deburr/Parts Cleaning Technician
Treske Precision Machining, Inc. is a precision machine shop. We serve: Space & Defense, Aerospace, Electronics and Commercial Customers. We are Technology Driven including Robotic Machine Loading and Inspection. Our Cloud-Based On-The-Clock Training is for all employees. Our own in-house software developers continually improve the flow of information we need to do our daily jobs
Shift: Weekend Friday-Sunday
Major Duties and Responsibilities
· Perform assembly duties within quality guidelines as required to meet company and customer requirements.
· Job set-up including picking of parts, prints, schematics, work instructions and necessary tools.
· Performs daily finishing / deburring activities using a variety of hand tools and machinery.
· Correct use of power and hand tools
· Package unit for shipment to customer as directed.
· Communication of recommendations for improvement of process and procedure
· Complete inspection forms and supporting documentation when necessary.
· Completion of related tasks as directed
· Run parts cleaning line
Desired Skills and Experience
· 1-3 year’s practical experience in a production environment
· Capable of handling a fast paced environment in addition to having a strong sense of urgency.
· Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
· Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for 8 or more hours a day.
· Attentive to detail, with a focus on accuracy and quality.
· Good with computers in a business environment.
Applicants must be flexible as this position has the potential for 'off-hours' and overtime as needed.
Job Conditions/Physical Requirements
· Work performed in office and factory settings.
· Exposure to manufacturing environment such as noise, dust and the outdoors.
· Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, and move about facilities.
· Must be able to lift light to moderately heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.).
