Job Summary: The 2nd shift CNC Machine Operator at our Dodge Manufacturing facility in Greenville, SC will report directly to a Production Supervisor. The 2nd shift is from 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm. Our CNC Machine Operators set-up and run several different types of CNC equipment (i.e. – Lathe, VMC, HMC, Hob, Grinder, etc.).
Key Responsibilities:
- With training, will have the ability to setup and run several different types of CNC equipment (i.e. – Lathe, VMC, HMC, Hob, Grinder, etc.).
- Able to use measuring devices including calipers, scales, micrometer, height, plug and thread gages.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent mechanical, math and communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Knowledge of quality inspection processes and procedures.
- Knowledge of database programs (i.e. – SAP).
- High School Diploma or GED.
- CNC certificate from a technical institution or equivalent CNC experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift 40 pounds.
- Able to work 2nd shift (3:00 pm – 11:00 pm).
* Please note that the starting pay for this position is $26.19 with a 5% shift differential. There is a progression review and pay increase process at 3, 6, and 12 months if you’re performing, and you can earn up to $32.08 per hour after one year. *
