Job Description
AMTS is looking aof an experienced Instrument & Controls (I&C) Construction Manager to support a large-scale semiconductor project in Boise, ID. This role will lead field execution for all I&C scopes, ensuring seamless coordination between engineering, construction, and commissioning teams. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in high-tech or semiconductor environments, a deep understanding of control systems installation, loop checks, QA/QC processes, turnover documentation, and contractor management. This position requires on-site leadership, a proactive approach to safety and schedule, and the ability to drive high-quality installation in a fast-paced, high-precision environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Owning safety within area of influence; ensuring systems operate reliably to avoid manufacturing/facility (or operations) impacts by meeting uptime goals.
- Effective collaboration with construction and operations teams to coordinate work in the field overlooking projects to meet design criteria, scope, budget, and schedule; oversight of planning, design, reconfiguration, construction.
- Maintenance, and modifications to equipment, machinery, facilities systems, buildings, and structures as required to support business requirements.
- Delivering operational efficiency, maintenance, testing and commissioning solutions.
- Identify and implement opportunities to achieve lowest cost of ownership to key stakeholders while maintaining reliability.
- Collaboration with the Site Facility management team, suppliers, key stakeholders and through in-depth understanding of the operating systems to determine and ensure compliance to existing standards, specifications, building codes, and processes.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering / Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering.
- Knowledge of the practical application of I&C engineering science and technology.
- Knowledge of Life Safety System engineering science and technology and relevant building code or regulatory requirement such as National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and troubleshooting skill.
- Design Knowledge of Instrument & Control (I&C) and Life Safety Systems or Building Monitoring System (BMS) design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
- Candidate who equip with experience in handling Allen Bradley PLC, Rockwell automation RSview or Cimplicity will be added advantages.

- Major in Instrumentations & Controls (I&C).

- Ability to communicate strategic and tactical concepts across a wide range of employees; engineering peers, operational technicians to management.
