Job Title: React UI Developer

Location: Seattle, WA  98101 (Onsite: Monday through Thursday. Required)
Duration: 6 Months (Potential to convert)

Start Date: 02/02/2026 End Date: 07/31/2026)

Pay Rate Range: $55/hr. - $65/hr. On W2

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced React UI Developer to design, build, and maintain high-quality, scalable user interfaces for modern web applications. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in React, strong UI/UX sensibilities, and a proven track record of delivering performant, maintainable front-end solutions in complex environments.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop responsive, high-performance web applications using React.js
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for scalability and consistency
• Translate UI/UX designs and business requirements into clean, efficient code
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers
• Lead front-end architecture decisions and contribute to technical design discussions
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain high engineering standards
• Ensure best practices in state management, component design, and performance optimization
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure UI reliability and quality
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and estimation

Required Qualifications:

• 810 years of experience in front-end or UI development
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with React.js
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3
• Experience with modern React features: Hooks, Context, functional components
• Hands-on experience with state management libraries such as Redux
• Strong experience with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end with backend services
• Solid understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with TypeScript
• Familiarity with Next.js or other React frameworks
• Experience with design systems and component libraries (Material UI, Ant Design, Chakra, etc.)
• Knowledge of performance monitoring and optimization tools
• Experience working in large-scale applications
• Android Native is plus

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and lead UI initiatives
• Passion for clean code, usability, and user experience
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, agile environments

 Education: Bachelors or equivalent experience
