The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing and assisting in ultrasound examinations, providing technical support to the Radiologist, and maintaining ultrasound equipment. Key responsibilities include:

• Prepare and examine patients for ultrasound procedures following departmental protocols.
• Operate, adjust, and maintain ultrasound equipment while ensuring safety precautions.
• Set up, clean, and perform minor adjustments to equipment.
• Ensure adequate supplies are available for operations.
• Assist in the orientation and mentoring of new ultrasound personnel.
• Capture and transfer images to PACS and physicians' workstations.
• Handle administrative tasks such as answering phones, scheduling exams, and coordinating transportation.
• Perform other duties as required.

Required qualifications:

• Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of office and administrative practices.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and discretion.

Preferred qualifications:

• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
