Mobile Mechanic - 4x10 schedule!

Start Location: Gig Harbor, WA
Pay Range: $24$26 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-time, MondayFriday or 4x10 schedule available

Murrays Collision is seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile Mechanic to support all Murrays Collision locations. This role will start each day at our Gig Harbor shop, then travel as needed to perform ADAS calibrations and post-collision mechanical support across our stores.

This position is ideal for a technician who enjoys working independently, traveling between locations, and specializing in advanced safety systems and diagnostics, while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

What Youll Do

• Start each workday at our Gig Harbor location and travel to other Murrays Collision shops as needed
• Perform ADAS calibrations and post-repair system validations in accordance with OEM requirements
• Diagnose and repair post-collision mechanical and electrical damage
• Complete mechanical repairs including brakes, suspension, steering, exhaust, engine-related components, electrical systems, HVAC, restraints, and airbags
• Perform post-repair scans and diagnostics using approved scan tools
• Follow OEM repair procedures and manufacturer service manuals
• Document all repairs, calibrations, and services accurately in the shop management system
• Inspect, test, and road-test vehicles to ensure repairs meet specifications
• Communicate with production and estimating teams to support on-time delivery
• Assist with DFRs and reassembly when appropriate
• Participate in daily production or release meetings as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following OSHA and safety guidelines
• Continue learning new vehicle technologies, repair methods, and ADAS systems
• May assist with limited body work as directed based on shop needs and performance

What Were Looking For

• 2+ years of automotive mechanical and electrical repair experience preferred
• Experience or strong interest in ADAS calibrations and advanced diagnostics
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Experience with suspension, braking, electrical, and drivetrain systems
• ASE certification or equivalent preferred; I-CAR training a plus
• Ability to read and follow manufacturer repair manuals
• Valid drivers license and insurable driving record

Work Environment

• Mobile role supporting multiple Murrays Collision locations
• Exposure to paint fumes, dust, chemicals, and varying temperatures
• Shop and field environments with intermittent noise
• Physical role requiring lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, standing, and repetitive motions
