Shipping Clerk (2025-125) (WA, Kirkland)

Astronics AES is seeking a Shipping Clerk to join our team in Kirkland, WA.

This is an onsite position, working Monday - Friday in the facility. 

JOB SUMMARY

The Shipping Clerk will schedule, process and track product shipments in partnership with internal and external customers.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform administrative duties in support of activities related to the shipping of finished goods
• Communicate and coordinate with transportation companies
• Handle routine questions and problems and maintains open communication with other departments throughout the shipping/delivery cycle
• Log order information into the computer and files and distributes paperwork as necessary
• Package and prepare products and merchandise for final shipment and posts weights and shipping charges
• Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped
• Review customer orders

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrates awareness of job duties (typically <1 year of direct experience in the essential functions of the position).
• Experience with FedEx Ship Manager, DHL Easy Ship and UPS Worldship desired.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

• As a US Department of Defense Contractor, Astronics is bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Must be a US Person under ITAR to be eligible.
• An offer of employment is contingent on successfully passing a pre-employment background screen and drug test including screening for the use of cannabis.

Base salary is $20.00 - $21.00 per hour dependant on experience.
