*This position is for Full-Time at the San Diego Juvenile Site- Youth Transition Campus in San Diego, CA. The chosen candidate will work 40 hrs/wk Wednesday through Saturday 11am-9pm.

CHP is looking for licensed mental health clinicians who are passionate about and motivated to work with justice involved youth. LMFT, LCSW, and LPCC, are all welcome to apply! We are seeking dedicated therapists to join our team to develop mental health curriculums, deliver best patient care, and assist in the growth of pre-licensed mental health clinicians via supervision as a licensed practitioner. The ideal candidate will have a desire to work with youth facing behavioral and mental health challenges within the two juvenile detention facilities in San Diego County.

Responsibilities
- Monitor and document patient behaviors and progress

- Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans

- Assist in developing additional mental health curriculums

- Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions with individual caseload of youth

- Collaborate with the clinical team as well as overarching multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care, including discharge planning for continuity of care

- Supervise 1-3 pre-licensed mental health clinicians via weekly supervision, consultation, and review of documentation

Qualifications
- Unrestricted, independent licensure in the state of CA (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, Licensed Psychologists)

- Experience working with youth with behavioral and mental health challenges

- Familiarity with motivational interviewing techniques, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy

- Proficiency in conducting individual and group therapy sessions

- Strong understanding of behavioral therapy principles

- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
