This position will be on the 2nd shift, 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The initial training period will take place during the 1st shift, 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Solder THT and SMT components per IPC A 610 Class III Standards
  • Rework and touch up per IPC A 610 Class III Standards
  • Assemble PCBs into complex modules
  • Build cable and chassis assemblies
  • Press-fit connectors using a benchtop manual press
  • Implement ECOs
  • Inspect incoming material: PCBs, panels, heatsinks, etc.
  • Complete final assembly of products
  • Build prototypes for Engineering using schematics
  • Keep Manufacturing consumables stocked, communicate stock levels and requirements to Purchasing team


Requirements

  • Minimum High School or GED or equivalent
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Certified to J-STD-001 preferred
  • Excellent Soldering Skills
  • Manual Dexterity
  • Able to lift 20 lbs


In compliance with local laws regarding pay transparency, the hourly rate for this role is $27.31/hr to $62.06/hr; however, Annapolis Micro Systems considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
