Job Description
Material Handler –
Shift: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM/ 2nd Shift 2:30pm-11pm
Pay Rate: $13.50/$14hr
Job Summary:
The Material Handler supports daily warehouse and production operations by efficiently receiving, moving, staging, and preparing materials and equipment within the facility. This role is essential to maintaining accurate inventory flow and ensuring timely product processing in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials, equipment, and products
Move materials to designated storage, staging, or production areas
Pick, pack, and prepare materials for shipment or internal distribution
Accurately track materials using inventory systems, scanners, and work orders
Maintain proper labeling, documentation, and inventory accuracy
Support production and repair teams by supplying materials as needed
Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, carts, and forklifts (if certified)
Follow quality standards, safety policies, and OSHA guidelines
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Report inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, or safety concerns to supervisors
Qualifications:
Ability to work a consistent 1st shift schedule (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Basic computer or scanner experience preferred
Previous material handling or warehouse experience is a plus, but not required
