Visual & Performing Arts Instructor (Music - Secondary) @ Burroughs High School - Part-time

OPENING DETAILS: Days: Monday - Friday, schedule varies Hours: Part-time; Between 8 am - 9 pm, depending on program Location - Burroughs High School Hourly Rate - $50 per hour Focus - FRENCH HORN PRIMARY FUNCTION: Under the supervision of a school administrator, provides instructional support for instrumental and vocal music students. Duties of the Visual and Performing Arts Instructor (Music) include developing lesson plans and delivering California State Standards aligned instruction within established curriculum guidelines; collaborating with classroom teachers, staff, and administrators in addressing instructional and/or classroom issues; and responding to a wide range of inquiries from students' parents or guardians regarding instructional program and student progress, and assisting classroom teachers in providing individual, small group, and ensemble instruction.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: -High School diploma -1 yr of experience assisting or leading instruction to individual students and/or groups of students -Training in specified art form (French Horn preferred)
