Material Handler - Full-time / Part-time

Location: Independence, MO
Pay Rate: Starting at $18.00/hour
Schedule: 4×10-hour day shifts (final schedule to be confirmed)
Assignment Length: 6-month temporary project with potential to extend 

Position Overview
Penmac Staffing is hiring Material Handlers / General Labor Associates to support a federally regulated manufacturing facility in Independence, MO. This role involves hands-on work in material handling, packaging, shipping, and general production tasks. The assignment is expected to last about six months, with the possibility of extension or temp-to-hire based on performance and business needs. 

Responsibilities for the Material Handler / General Labor Associate

• Perform general labor tasks in a manufacturing environment
• Package, label, and prepare products for shipment
• Move, stage, and organize materials and finished goods
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities
• Follow written instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements for the Material Handler / General Labor Associate

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40–50 lbs as needed
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Must meet all facility access requirements

Identification Requirement (Federal Compliance)
Due to federal regulations, all workers must present one of the following to enter the facility:

• A valid REAL ID, OR
• A valid photo ID and an original or certified birth certificate
