We have a client located in Royalton, MN looking for an experienced Logistics Dispatcher.  This is a direct hire position paying between 42k – 49k, depending on experience. 

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and organized dispatcher to help coordinate day-to-day transportation activities within our logistics operations.  This role is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and learning the logistics industry.  We provide training and support to help you succeed.

Job Duties

·       Assist with scheduling and tracking freight shipments using our systems.

·       Help coordinate pickups and deliveries with drivers and customers

·       Enter and update shipment information accurately in our system

·       Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal team members by phone and email

·       Monitor shipments to help ensure deliveries stay on schedule

·       Support the operations team with general dispatch and coordination tasks

Requirements

·       Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

·       Comfortable using computers, typing and entering information accurately

·       Good communication skills and a professional phone manner

·       Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fat-paced environment

·       Willingness to learn new systems and processes

·       Any experience in logistics, dispatching, shipping/receiving, or transportation is helpful but not required

·       Experience with transportation or dispatch software is a plus, but we will train the right person.
