SHIPPING & RECEIVING - Full-time

Description

Essential Functions: 

• Responsible for inventory accountability from the beginning to the end of the shift.
• Receive deliveries throughout the day. Accurately account for all items being delivered, complete the computer entries, as well as the put away or deliver functions.
• Process out going shipments as they present themselves throughout the day.
• Solve daily routine problems with the work center that can assist or clarify.  Be proactive.
• Provide parts counter support when needed. This is a secondary function that will require cross training.
• Able to work at a pace that keeps backlogs to a minimum. Same day shipping, receiving, and inventory controls.
• Take the personal initiative to maintain a clean, orderly, and efficient storeroom.
• Perform driving duties in delivery and pickup of counter-to-counter parts.
• Perform administrative duties to include invoicing and posting to work orders.

Requirements

Physical Requirements:

This work requires the following physical activities.

• Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.

Environmental Conditions:

• Industrial/Hangar environment.
• Office environment.

Minimum Education Requirement:

High School Diploma or GED.

Minimum Work Experience / Requirements:

• Ability to pass background / drug-screening test.
• Clean driving record.
