How you'll make an impact:
MRP is searching for a passionate and agile Folder Operator who consider themselves problem-solvers and excited by challenges and the opportunity to build something great with us. As a Folder Operator in the Bindery Department, you will be responsible for setting up and starting production on a folding, cutting, or stitching machine.

What will you do in this role?
- Set up equipment according to the job requirements.
- Check quality of the incoming product/job prior to starting production on the stitcher machine. Continue to monitor for quality assurance.
- Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and preventative maintenance inspections of equipment.
- Identify deficiencies of equipment and notify supervisor. May assist in machine repairs.
- Provide direction and guidance to other Folding Machine Operators as needed.
- Review production progress throughout the shift to measure against daily goals.
- Has responsibility for the outcome of all projects that run on the Folding Machine. Embrace the entrepreneurial spirit!

Basic Requirements

- Learn and pass certification requirements for relevant machines used in your position. Training and testing is done on the job.
- Must have basic computer skills or the ability to learn basic skills.
- Able to read and understand job instructions, including custom job requirements.
- Excellent endurance to stand and move about the work area all day

The physical requirements and work environment:
Physical Demands
- Standing/Walking: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8–12 hours per shift).
- Lifting/Carrying: Regularly lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
- Repetitive Motions: Frequent use of hands and arms for machine operation and material handling.
- Visual/Manual Requirements: Ability to read gauges, measure materials, and perform quality checks.
Environmental Conditions
- Noise Level: Exposure to moderate to high noise levels; hearing protection provided.
- Safety Gear: Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, and/or hearing protection are required
- Other Factors: Occasional exposure to dust, ink, or chemicals used in production.
Schedule & Work Hours
- Full-time position; standard schedule is Monday-Friday, 8 Hours/Day, with occasional overtime as needed.
