Role Summary: Works under the direct supervision of the Specialties Production Supervisor. Provides excellent customer service by assuring daily scheduled production is completed in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
Schedule: Monday thru Friday 7am-3pm
What You'll Do:
- Assure daily scheduled production is completed in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
- Assemble and/or build corrugated and returnable kits according to customer specifications, utilizing tools necessary to complete product according to specifications. Tools include, but are not limited to, hot melt guns, cold glue, box knives, tape, staple guns, and product banding equipment.
- Assure completed product meets specifications of customer needs.
- Assure customer expectations are consistently met in terms of quality, quantity, and product is produced in a timely manner consistent with established guidelines.
- May be required to provide training for new personnel.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping and general organization in the converting production areas.
- Support and provide suggestions for continuous improvement activities to improve processes and procedures.
- Maintain a consistent positive attendance point status.
- Support and adhere to internal quality and safety programs.
Things to know:
- Demonstrated ability to perform and document all ISO Quality checks required.
- Willingness and ability to learn new computer software.
- Thorough understanding of spec cards and correction of non-conforming product procedures.
- Thorough understanding of Standard Work Instructions.
