The Team Member we are searching for
The ideal Long Term Substitute Teacher believes in and is passionate about the mission and commitments of PUC Schools and exhibits this through their leadership, reflection, execution of school culture, and collaboration to ensure student success.
What you will need to accomplish:
- Plan and provide appropriate learning experiences for students
- Supervise students in a variety of school-related settings
- Assess, monitor, and evaluate student outcomes
- Develop and maintain IATs (lesson plans)
- Provide continual assessment of student progress, maintain student records and portfolios, and complete assigned paperwork in provided time frames
- Attend and implement professional development training throughout the school year
- Communicate and interact with students, parents, staff, and community
- Provide an atmosphere and environment conducive to the intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development of students
- Strive to maintain and improve professional competence
- Maintain appropriate records and follow required procedures and practices
- Monitor appropriate use and care of equipment, materials, and facilities
- Perform other duties as assigned
