POSITION SUMMARY

MIN WAGE + TIPS

Provide the highest level of quality and service to our guests by being responsible for all preparation, interaction and steps of service needed to exceed guest expectations in the restaurant.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

 

     Greet all guests and co-workers in a warm, personal, friendly manner.

     Present drink menus to guests and answer questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request.

     Follow T S protocol and inform manager on duty for all noted guest allergies.

     Explain various drink menu items including types of ingredients and flavors; describe and recommend wines to guests as needed.

     Check guests' identification to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcohol.

    Verbally take guests' beverage orders and enter orders into computers for transmittal to bar staff.

    Serve beverages to guests; adding the appropriate garnishes as required.

    Carry tray in one hand while serving or clearing; carry tray while walking up and down stairs.

    Check with guests to ensure that they are enjoying their beverages and take action to correct any problems.

    Assist in removal of dishes and glasses from tables or counters and take them to kitchen for cleaning.

    Carry full bus tubs to and from kitchen.

    Stock service areas with supplies as required.

    Must be dependable, report to work as scheduled and on time, and follow all policies regarding attendance.

     Work in a safe manner and report any safety concerns; personal, employee or guest injury.

     Follow food safety program guidelines of handwashing, bare hands, hygiene and health.
