Required - Gradutate from a CAAHEP accredited program or JRCERT accredited program - Associates, ARRT CT, AHA BLS. On call 1 x a month. Weekends depends on the shift.

Job Summary: Under general to limited supervision and direction, this intermediate-level position delivers specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and/or pediatric patient populations. The role aids medical staff in the diagnosis, care, treatment, and surveillance of simple to complex conditions, defects, and/or diseases. Responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures, utilizing specialized imaging equipment, conducting post-procedure reviews, transferring images and data, performing quality control checks, and participating in professional development and research activities.
Required Qualifications:
\n • Skill in applying principles of cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology, medical imaging, medical terminology, positioning of patients, and medical ethics.
\n • Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
\n • Sensitivity to patients’ physical and psychological needs.
\n • Ability to maintain accurate records and work accurately with names, numbers, and codes.
\n • Ability to draw conclusions and make appropriate recommendations.
\n • Discretion in handling confidential information and sound judgment.
\n • Ability to multi-task and remain calm in stressful situations.
\n • Understanding of operations, policies, and procedures.
\n • Professional communication with staff, patients, and families.
\n • Initiative, effort, and commitment towards completing assignments efficiently.
\n • Ability to work with minimum supervision and attention to detail.
\n • Core to intermediate-level knowledge of anatomy, physiology, cardiovascular and/or radiologic technologies, and terminology.
\n • Skill to apply core to intermediate-level theory, practices, and techniques independently.
\n • Ability to prioritize and complete assignments with limited direction.
Preferred Qualifications:
\n • One (1) year full-time experience as a certified or registered cardiovascular or radiologic technology professional in the required specialty.
Required Education:
\n • Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited educational program with emphasis in a primary cardiovascular specialty.
\n OR
\n • Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited educational program with emphasis in a radiologic technology specialty.
Preferred Education:
\n • Associate’s degree or higher.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
\n • Current CT credentials required by the hiring department.
\n • AHA BLS certification.
