Schedule: 

• Tuesday - Friday
• 4x10's
• 10a - 8:30p - 30 minute lunch
• 1st week orientation will be M-F 8hr days; most get through orientation/trainings in 2 days, after completing you will transition to agreed upon assignment schedule.

Travel : Yes - onsite lodging, $600/month. Fills out housing form once accepted for the role. This will be shared lodging

Additional Details about the position

• The MRI Technologist is a registered professional who provides health care related imaging services to patients of a broad range of ages by performing high quality MRI studies. This will require independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative to effectively and efficiently complete.
• These studies assist the Radiologist in the diagnosis of disease processes.
• The MRI technologist must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication; proven judgment and decision making skills; possess the ability to work rapidly with attention to detail and accuracy; ability to recognize and maintain confidential information; ability to work in stressful situations and desire to further own knowledge and performance relating to field. 
• The MRI technologist must also have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, staff and the public. 

• Equipment used:
• Canon Magnet (New)
• Beds: 73 inpatient beds
• Trauma Level 3
• Perform MR and MRA scans in a hospital setting.
• Maintain optimal patient flow and imaging quality.
• Handle image processing and transfer to PACS/RIS systems.
• May assist with QA/QC of MRI procedures and upkeep of supplies/equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE guidelines.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• 1 year minimum relative experience
• 2-3 years preferred 

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS 

• BLS
• ARRT

LICENSURE REQUIREMENT 

• Arizona ARRT license

This facility is a 73-bed regional referral medical center in Tuba City, Arizona on the Navajo Reservation. Our service area is 6,000 square miles and covers the western region of the Navajo, Hopi, and San Juan Paiute Reservations.

In 2021, TCRHCC received over 250,000 patient visits a year at the main campus and at satellite facilities in Flagstaff, at Sacred Peaks Clinic; LeChee Health & Wellness Facility near Page, a clinic at Bodaway/Gap, Cameron, and the Kaibeto Creek Independent Living Center. A mobile health program also travels to remote corners of the service area.
