Position SummaryGoJet Airlines is seeking a Business Analyst to support decision-making through data analysis, reporting, and strategic insights. This role requires strong analytical judgment, discretion, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations that improve organizational performance across the Company. The Business Analyst will analyze operational, financial, workforce, and performance data across GoJet Airlines to identify trends, risks, and opportunities aligned with Company objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Business, Analytics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, operations analysis, or related analytical roles preferred.
- Aviation or transportation industry experience is a plus but not required.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing complex datasets to identify trends, develop insights, and recommend solutions.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Access, SQL/MySQL, or other database tools preferred.
- Experience with business intelligence, reporting, or data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, BRIO, or similar) preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to translate business processes and data into meaningful insights and improvement recommendations.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and learn new systems and business functions quickly.
- Analyze company-wide operational, financial, workforce, and performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and tracking mechanisms to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Validate data accuracy and partner with IT and business stakeholders to maintain reliable datasets.
- Support leadership with ad-hoc analyses and recurring reports to inform strategic planning and operational decisions.
- Analyze historical and forward-looking performance data to support forecasting, planning, and resource optimization.
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements based on data-driven insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Finance, HR, Training, IT, Safety, and other departments) to support data needs and initiatives.
- Coordinate with internal and external partners, including airline partners, to exchange and reconcile data as needed.
- Produce monthly and quarterly reports for GoJet senior leadership.
- Assist in resolving data discrepancies and facilitating alignment between departments.
- Position is based in St. Louis, MO.
- Role supports all departments and operational functions within GoJet Airlines.
- Primarily a Monday–Friday position in an office or hybrid environment.
