Redefine Healthcare is looking for a dedicated, full-time Medical Assistant to join our expanding team of healthcare professionals in our Linwood, Manahawkin, Hammonton Offices. The Medical Assistant will support providers by preparing documentation, assisting with patient care tasks, and managing clinical workflows to ensure efficient and compassionate service. This role is ideal for a motivated individual seeking to grow in a collaborative and fast-paced healthcare environment. Job Title: Medical Assistant

Pay Rate: $19-20/hour depending on specialty and experience

Hours: 40 hours per week

Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Preparation of documentation required for patient appointments.
  • Use of EHR (documenting patient history, vitals, test results, exam findings, and plans as instructed by provider).
  • Order entry and submission (ePrescribing, labs and imaging studies, interventional procedures, etc.)
  • Assist with in-office injections.
  • Respond to patient calls and inquiries.
  • Respond to pharmacy refill inquiries.
  • Any and all other tasks as directed by providers.

Minimum Level of Education or Experience Required:

  • Certified Medical Assistant with minimum 2 years’ experience; Orthopedic experience a plus.
  • Solid working knowledge of EHR systems; Athena knowledge a plus.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology; musculoskeletal/neuro/psych a plus.
