Base Salary: $45,000–$60,000 + Commission Opportunities (DOE)
Harrisburg, PA | Full-Time | In-Office

Abel Personnel is seeking a Recruiter / Staffing Recruiter to join our growing team in Harrisburg, PA. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated, business-minded professional who enjoys working with hiring managers, delivering results, and collaborating closely with a strong recruiting team.

This role is ideal for professionals with experience in operations, office management, client services, sales, or administrative leadership support who are excited to learn the staffing and talent acquisition industry. Prior recruiting experience is welcome but not required.

This is not a manufacturing or warehouse recruiting role.

What You’ll Do as a Recruiter

• Manage the full recruiting lifecycle for professional and office-based roles
• Partner with hiring managers to understand business needs, priorities, and timelines
• Source, screen, and interview candidates using proactive outreach strategies
• Build and maintain candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs
• Provide a consultative, professional experience to candidates and clients
• Collaborate closely with other recruiters by sharing candidates, insights, and workload support
• Assist teammates during high-volume or urgent hiring needs
• Track recruiting activity accurately using applicant tracking systems (ATS)

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5 years of professional experience with demonstrated reliability and accountability
• Background in client-facing or performance-driven roles, such as:
• • Office or operations management
  • Client services or customer success
  • Sales or account management
  • Administrative or business support roles aligned with leadership
• Strong communication, organization, and follow-through
• Team-oriented mindset with a “we win together” mentality
• Self-motivated and internally competitive
• Comfortable learning new systems, processes, and industries
• Experience working with staffing firms from the client side is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $45,000–$60,000 annually (dependent on experience)
