Warehouse Worker

SVS Group is currently hiring full time Warehouse Workers for one our clients located in the N. Phoenix area near Anthem. Our client is a rapidly growing interior design firm that specializes in interior design and home staging.

Who We’re Looking For:

We are in major growth mode right now and need some jack of all trades to work in our Anthem warehouse. Some days will be strictly warehouse work and other days you'll be an installing with our interior designers to bring their vision to life in staging high end homes or design projects.

Here's what we will be looking to you for:

-Ability to work independently and with the team
-Assist customers with loading furniture
-Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse at all times. This includes sweeping, mopping, and organizing
-Load and unload “open-boxed” furniture and accessories into moving truck
-Assemble and install furniture into luxury high-end homes
-Pack and unpack “open-boxed” accessories from staged homes
-Stage and prep furniture for all new staging and design projects with care
-Build and assemble “new” furniture
-Receive and manually offload “new” boxed product from multiple vendors
-Lift up to 50-75 pounds
-Restock open-boxed furniture into pallet racking
-Keep an organized and clean warehouse environment
-Ability to problem solve
-Inspect each piece of furniture prior to delivery and restocked items
-Repair damaged furniture
-Drive delivery trucks and/or van locally with a clean driving record
-Communicate effectively with the team

What You Bring:

-Experience moving and assembling furniture preferred
-A strong work ethic and team-first attitude
-Comfortable working as part of a crew and supporting others
-Physically active, organized, and detail-minded
-Self-motivated and able to work independently when needed
-Follows instructions and gets the job done right
-Communicates clearly with team members and supervisors
-Reliable, punctual, and ready to work
-Must be able to work past 5pm and weekends if necessary
