We are currently recruiting a banquet cook. We feature a newer high scale 125-seat restaurant, private room dining and a formal event hall that can accommodate up to 400+ guests, a new scratch bakery +coffee shop with additional event space and are currently implementing plans for additional growth in Puyallup, Washington.
Job Responsibilities:
· Learn and adapt to a variety of event menus.
· Prepare and cook food per recipes standards.
· Ensure food stations are prepped, organized and clean.
· Maintain company standards on safety, food quality, presentation and keeping on task with our brand.
Our ideal candidate has some previous high volume restaurant kitchen experience and:
· Understands and has experience with cooking methods, kitchen quality and portion size standards.
· Has a passion for quality service and wants to give back to the community.
· Is a strong communicator who enjoys working in a team environment.
· Is self-motivated, can work well under pressure and has the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
· Can be flexible in his/her work schedule. Must have weekend/holiday availability.
· Has a current Food Handlers Permit.
· Can focus on the job while staying on their feet and moving about freely, which can include bending, climbing stairs, and carrying heavy items.
