The Role

Floor Care Technician – Hospital (Evening Shift)

Location: Los Angeles, CAShift: 5:00 PM – 1:30 AMPay Rate: $25.90/hour

We are seeking a reliable Floor Care Technician to join our Environmental Services team at a hospital campus in the Los Angeles area. This role is essential in maintaining clean, safe, and well-presented floors across multiple hospital buildings.

What You Will Do

• Perform floor care services including stripping, waxing, buffing, and scrubbing

• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of various flooring types

• Support 3–4 buildings on campus, all within walking distance

• Safely operate floor care equipment and use cleaning chemicals

• Follow hospital safety, infection control, and quality standards

What It Takes To Be Successful

• Prior floor care experience preferred

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to work independently during evening hours

• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented

• Working knowledge of multiple hard floor surfaces (marble, granite, VCT, etc.)
• Working knowledge of carpet cleaning procedures (shampooing, extracting, bonneting)
• Ability to perform window cleaning and power washing duties
• Time management skills
• Proven organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, delegate and follow-up
