Employment & Labor Associate (Mid to Senior Level)
Locations: San Francisco, Irvine, or Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid)
A top global law firm is seeking a mid to senior-level Labor & Employment Associate to join its California team. This is a strong opportunity to handle complex employment litigation for major clients, while receiving structured mentorship and leadership support within a highly collaborative and inclusive culture.
What You’ll Work On:
Defend wage and hour class actions and PAGA claims in state and federal court
Handle FEHA matters including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination
Manage litigation strategy, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial prep
Represent clients before EEOC, DFEH, DLSE, and other agencies
Conduct compliance audits and provide strategic risk counseling
Advise on arbitration agreements, employment policies, and litigation avoidance strategies
What You’ll Bring:
5–8 years of employment litigation experience in a law firm setting
Deep experience in wage and hour class actions and PAGA defense
Familiarity with FEHA and administrative litigation
California Bar admission required
Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Experience defeating class certification and handling depositions is a plus
Client-first mindset, with the ability to manage multiple matters independently

Compensation & Benefits:
Salary range: $250,000 – $355,000 (depending on experience)
