Job Summary

A procurement clerk is responsible for assisting with purchasing and procurement operations. This role will work closely with other department managers to ensure that all parts, supply and inventory is ordered and delivered on time.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Source parts and tools for entire facility.

• Order parts for inventory or special requests.

• Process, post purchase orders and requisitions in a timely and accurate manner.

• Track orders and ensure timely delivery to the correct department

• Enter work orders into the maintenance software.

• Create and process purchase orders into the software.

• Perform all shipping and receiving duties as required.

• Identify part numbers and provide descriptions with the intent of supplying or ordering

parts for maintenance mechanics utilizing software and catalogs.

• Manage and process parts cores as required.

• Conduct cycle counts, inventories and obsolete parts surveys as directed.

• Work closely with vendors and vendor pricing for optimal efficiency.

• Coordinate CalARP documentation for outside vendors

• File CalARP reports as required

• Submit required reports accurately and on time.

• Manage departmental assignments ensuring all items are completed on time.

• Maintain clean and safe work area.

• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively with vendors and customers

• Must be able to calculate basic math equations

• Must be proficient on MS Office and other software as required.

• Must possess excellent organization skills.

• Must demonstrate excellent attention to detail.

• Previous bakery procurement desirable

• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• 3 plus years Parts experience desirable.
