Pre-Press Specialist: Quality Assurance & Layout

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our Pre-Press Department. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and verifying component and part layouts for our pull-tab tickets.

The ideal candidate has a passion for precision and thrives in a focused environment. You will be the final line of defense, ensuring that images, text, numbering sequences, and layouts meet our rigorous quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance: Perform comprehensive checks to verify the accuracy of multi-page image and text layouts.
• Precision Monitoring: Review job output for correctness, font irregularities, punctuation, grammar, and overall image quality.
• Adherence to Standards: Ensure all internal and customer-specific requirements are met while maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
• Safety & Efficiency: Operate in accordance with company safety policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

• Meticulous Eye for Detail: A well-developed ability to spot inconsistencies, discrepancies, and layout errors.
• Technical Literacy: Basic data entry and math skills. Knowledge of Design Merge is a significant plus!
• Communication: Fluent in English (written and verbal) with the ability to follow complex oral and written instructions.
• Focus & Concentration: Ability to sit for long periods and maintain high levels of concentration.
• Vision Standards: Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Availability: Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed to meet production deadlines.
