ABE/GED Instructor

• Instruct students in Pre-GED and GED preparation
• Responsible for teaching Common Core standards curriculum
• Preparing students for the GED, including but not limited to: math, language arts, science, social studies, and career development
• Utilize a variety of appropriate instructional strategies in a multi-level environment
• Monitor attendance and complete paperwork as required
• Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with non-traditional students
• Teaching experience in math, reading, English, science, social studies, and life skills
• Some experience with individualized instruction
