🕐 Schedule: Overnight shifts | Rotating weekends
💵 Pay Range: $18–22 per hour (based on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our overnight emergency team. This role is ideal for someone who is calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting critical patients and the teams caring for them during overnight hours.

What You’ll Do

• Assist veterinarians and technicians with emergency exams, treatments, diagnostics, and procedures

• Safely handle and restrain patients, including those that are critical or unstable

• Monitor hospitalized patients and report changes promptly

• Prepare, clean, and maintain treatment areas, cages, and equipment while supporting overall hospital organization

What We’re Looking For

• Previous veterinary assistant or animal care experience preferred (emergency experience a plus)

• Comfortable working overnight shifts and rotating weekends

• Ability to remain calm, focused, and adaptable in high-stress situations

• Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset

• Dependable, compassionate, and eager to learn
