The Madlyn L. Hanes Library at Penn State Harrisburg is seeking Work Study student employees for the Fall 2025/Spring 2026 semesters.
Requirements
- Must have a 25/26 Federal Work Study Award to apply.
- A cover letter listing days and times you are available to work must accompany the completed application.
- Respectful and friendly customer service skills are required. Good communication and active listening skills as well as attention to detail are preferred.
- Good attendance is crucial.
Duties
- Assisting users at the circulation desk
- Processing library materials for checkout and return
- Shelving library materials and performing collections maintenance tasks
The starting hourly rate for this position is $12.00.
