Multi-Craft Technician - Full-time

Talentline Services is partnering with a trusted client in the Automotive sector to help them identify a skilled Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a stable and growing facility with long-term potential. The ideal candidate will bring both mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team to support equipment uptime and overall production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment.

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately.

• Maintain accurate records of completed work and maintenance logs.

• Assist in equipment upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement efforts.

• Follow all safety protocols and ensure safe work practices are upheld throughout the facility.

• Collaborate with other departments (production, engineering, quality) to address and resolve equipment-related issues.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

• Experience with motors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, sensors, and basic wiring.

• Familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, and control systems is a plus.

• Ability to work from diagrams, schematics, and maintenance instructions.

• Must be able to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certifications preferred.

• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, bend, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs.

• Comfortable working in an industrial environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and variable temperatures.
