Job Description
At OnSpot Dermatology, we’re redefining how patients access skin care. Our state-of-the-art mobile medical clinics and brick-and-mortar locations deliver high-quality dermatology services including skin cancer screenings, biopsies, and Mohs surgery to communities across Central Florida.
This position is primarily based at our Lady Lake clinic in the Sharon Morse Medical Building.
The OpportunityThis is a flexible, part-time Medical Assistant role designed to work around your schedule. Whether you’re looking for 1 day a week or up to 4, we’ll build a consistent schedule that fits your availability.
For candidates who want additional hours, there is an optional opportunity to support our mobile clinics — travel is never required.
You’ll work in a focused dermatology setting with a supportive care team, meaningful patient interactions, and no chaotic primary-care pace.
Schedule & Pay1–4 days per week (you choose what works best)

No nights or weekends
Welcome patients, take medical histories, and prepare them for exams
Scribe for providers and update electronic medical records (EMA / Modernizing Medicine)
Assist during Mohs procedures, excisions, and minor surgeries
Label, process, and prepare specimens for the lab
Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate patient care
Support providers during additional testing and procedures
Ensure patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for
Occasionally assist with tasks outside standard MA duties to support clinic operations
Scribe for providers and update electronic medical records (EMA/Modernizing Medicine)
Assist during Mohs procedures, excisions, and minor surgeries

Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate patient care
Support providers during additional testing and procedures
Ensure patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for
Occasionally take on duties outside of standard MA tasks to support team operations
Medical Assistant with clinical experience
Dermatology or surgical experience is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right candidate
Experience with EMA / Modernizing Medicine strongly preferred (training available)
