ERP System Administrator

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and technical ERP Systems Administrator to lead the implementation, customization, and ongoing management of our JobBOSS2 (formerly ECI JobBOSS) environment. The ideal candidate will act as the primary architect for our ERP workflow, ensuring the system is optimized for our manufacturing processes. Beyond technical setup, you will be responsible for training staff, developing SOPs, and using ERP data to assist leadership in production planning and strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

·         System Implementation & Optimization: Lead the end-to-end setup of JobBOSS2, including data migration, module configuration (including but not limited to quoting, scheduling, inventory, and accounting), and third-party integrations.

·         Database Management: Maintain system integrity, perform regular audits, and troubleshoot technical issues within the ERP environment.

·         Process Development: Map current shop floor and office workflows to ERP functions to improve efficiency in material requirements planning (MRP) and labor tracking.

·         Training and Documentation: Create user manuals and conduct hands-on training sessions for departments including Sales, production, Purchasing, and Finance.

·         Production Planning Support: Utilize JobBOSS2 reporting tools to provide real-time data on capacity, bottlenecks, and job costing to assist the management team in strategic planning.

·         Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on JobBOSS2 software updates and new features to ensure the company is maximizing its investment in the platform.

Qualifications:

Required Skills:

·         Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience managing an ERP system, specifically JobBOSS or JobBOSS2.

·         Manufacturing Knowledge: Deep understanding of machine shops or manufacturing environments (e.g., Bill of Materials, work orders, routing, and inventory control).

Preferred Skills:

·         Experience with ISO Standard 13485:2016

·         Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., SQL reporting and Crystal Reports)

·         Strong communication skills

·         Analytical mindset

Education Requirement: High School Diploma

Pay: Negotiable upon skill level
