About this job
Job Description
We are recruiting PA students who are in their final semester of their Master's degree, who will graduate this summer 2016. We will have an opening to add a third Endocrinology and Diabetes Physician Assistant Associate. After paid on-site training in the specialty with the supervising Endocrinologist, you will begin seeing patients and establishing a patient base. Autonomy, but an endocrinologist is always available. We also have an on-site Clinical Research Center. You will be involved as a Sub-Investigator in the latest diabetes and endocrine research, including pharmaceutical and diabetes technology research. Allows you to gain research experience on future medications and devices.
No weekends. No nights. No call except very rarely. Major holidays off. PTO, vacation. Half day Friday. You will be working with two other Endocrine PAs and the supervising Endocrinologist. After initial training with the Endocrinologist, you will start to establish your clinic population and will be assigned a Medical Assistant to help you with your workflow.
You MUST be near completion of a Master's Degree in Physician Associate and be eligible to take the Certification exam. MUST meet the requirements to get a license to practice in Arkansas through the Arkansas Medical Board. Signing bonus to current PA students nearing graduation.
