3rd Shift Lead Warehouse Associate - Full-time

Essential Functions:

1. Fulfills the duties and responsibilities of a Material Handling Operator.
2. Provides leadership and sets a positive example for other associates through productivity, quality, sanitation, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
3. Continuously trains and develops associates on standard operation procedures (SOP) and job safety analysis (JSA).
4. Serves as a primary point of reference for warehouse associates regarding operational or procedural questions.
5. Works closely with supervisor on staffing needs and overtime requirements, and assists in scheduling, delegating and prioritizing workflow.
6. Leads and manages temporary labor personnel as required to ensure the efficient, accurate and timely completion of projects.
7. Maintains a clean and safe work environment and reinforces sanitation and safety policies with warehouse associates.
8. Completes forms and prepares reports as required
9. Conduct pre-shift and safety meetings
10. Complete Safety observations
11. Conduct Cycle counts and customer inventories
12. Back up to Warehouse Supervisor as needed
13. Assists with the material handling equipment training of new employees.
14. Updates and maintains sanitation records.
15. Performs cycle counts or quality control testing and communicates findings and observations to Supervisor.
16. Identifies continuous improvement opportunities in warehousing processes.
17. Participates in departmental or interdepartmental meetings.
