Position Summary
The Shift Supervisor oversees daily warehouse operations to ensure safety, productivity, and accuracy throughout the shift. This role is responsible for supervising team members, coordinating workflow, supporting inventory accuracy, enforcing company policies, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with proven leadership ability in a warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations for assigned shift, ensuring tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
- Lead, guide, and coach warehouse team members while promoting teamwork and accountability.
- Coordinate workflow including receiving, picking, staging, loading, and outbound processes.
- Ensure all work is performed according to SOPs, safety rules, quality standards, and Food Grade warehouse requirements.
- Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate daily goals and expectations clearly.
- Train team members on equipment, safety procedures, and warehouse processes.
- Monitor productivity, address performance issues, and escalate concerns when needed.
- Complete daily documentation including shift reports, equipment logs, and safety forms.
- Assist with forklift operation as needed (sit-down or clamp truck experience preferred).
- Identify and resolve issues such as damaged product, inventory discrepancies, or workflow delays.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Support onboarding of new hires and cross-training initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, attendance guidelines, and PPE requirements.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience, including at least 1 year in a lead, trainer, or supervisory role.
- Forklift experience strongly preferred (sit-down or clamp).
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and make decisions in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a non–climate-controlled warehouse.
- Experience using tablets, scanners, or basic warehouse technology.
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance record.
- Commitment to safety, teamwork, and operational excellence.

Work Schedule
Night Shift:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday
Hours: 3:30 PM - 12:30 AM
Preferred Certifications
- Forklift Operator Certification
- Leadership or safety training certifications (preferred but not required)
