JOB SUMMARY:

The patient transporter transports patients to other areas, such as therapy, surgery or radiology and helps to prepare rooms in imaging for upcoming patients.

SCHEDULE: Every other weekend 9am - 3pm (6 hours/week, 12 hours/pay period - not eligible for benefits)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Transports patients to/from various departments.
• Assists imaging staff with cleaning and preparing exam rooms in Imaging.
• Provides assistance to imaging staff with various tasks as requested.
• Makes copies and imports images for OSS provider and patient requests, ensuring accuracy.
• Assists with lifting and positioning patients.
• Displays a pleasant, cooperative attitude and working relationship with all patients and staff.

EDUCATION:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• No experience required.
• Ability to take direction, both written and oral.
• Ability to maintain professional communication and appearance when interacting with patients and staff at all levels.
