Position Summary
The Paper Roll Clamp Forklift Driver is responsible for safely operating a clamp forklift to move, load, and unload large paper rolls within a warehouse environment. The role requires strong attention to safety, accuracy in material handling, and the ability to follow all SOPs, quality guidelines, and Food Grade warehouse standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a paper roll clamp forklift to move product throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trailers using proper trailer safety procedures (glad lock, wheel chock, jack stand).
- Use iPad and RFD Scanner to complete warehouse tasks.
- Follow all company safety rules, quality policies, and operational procedures.
- Work in a non–climate controlled dock environment for extended periods.
- Inspect paper rolls for damage and report any issues.
- Identify and rework damaged materials as needed.
- Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Adhere to Food Grade warehouse requirements.
- Assist coworkers and collaborate with warehouse team members to meet production needs.
- Comply with all BWT Logistics policies and guidelines.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Minimum 2 years of sit‑down forklift experience in a warehouse or dock environment.
- Skilled in maneuvering forklifts through aisles, docking areas, and in and out of trailers.
- Ability to complete basic math calculations, with or without a calculator.
- Experience loading and unloading trailers.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to use tablets and scanners.
- Strong communication skills.
- Reliable, flexible, and team oriented.
- Commitment to workplace safety.

Compensation: $17.00 per hour
