Parent Ambassador - Parent Engagement & Outreach Department - 2025/2026

Modesto City Schools is a Pre-K through 12th grade district, serving approximately 30,000 students. The District is one of the largest employers in Stanislaus County, with over 3,200 employees. It is divided into three divisions: Business Services, Educational Services and Human Resources. An Associate Superintendent oversees each division and a variety of programs, such as Early Childhood Education, Child Welfare & Attendance, Special Education, Nutrition Services and Transportation. Modesto City Schools also offers an Induction Program with a state approved curriculum by which new teachers attain their Professional Clear Credential. MCS is looking for Parent Ambassadors to network with parents at school sites to help parents connect to various internal and external related information and resources, share information for school-related programs, events and activities, as well as assist with parent recruitment and encourage participation in school and student activities; and to assist with the coordination and implementation of parent trainings and events.

$18.00 per hour (15 hours weekly - hours may vary)

Candidates must be available to attend events on weekends or in the evening as necessary, including trainings, conferences, parent meetings or other related events. Mileage reimbursement, computer device and work cell phone provided.
