Rendering

Overview:

The rendering process encompasses the production of meat and bone meal, blood meal, and tallow. Within this department, each team member is tasked with ensuring the smooth operation of both production and maintenance aspects. In the Rendering department, you will undertake various production tasks, including equipment operation, documentation, production data tracking, and product handling. Maintenance responsibilities involve equipment upkeep to minimize downtime, conducting daily maintenance checks, and troubleshooting. Tasks in this department expose employees to wet or humid conditions, slippery surfaces, moving mechanical parts, a fast-paced environment, and varying temperatures. Employees will handle chemicals, solvents, and operate moving vehicles, requiring extended periods of standing, walking, or using stairs and ladders. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory throughout all production areas.

Qualifications:

Preferred experience in a maintenance related role

Detail-oriented

Mechanically skilled

Proficient in English reading and writing

Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)

Knowledge of fundamental tools and maintenance practices
