This position will oversee the custodial and maintenance of facility components of the operation. Primary responsibilities will be to control costs while providing the best possible maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability, facility aesthetic, and employee safety.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for general housekeeping to ensure a productive and clean environment each day (Bathrooms, Kitchen, and Waste Collection etc.)
- Responsible for repair & maintenance of facility equipment
- Problem solving skills in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, security/fire systems, and code/compliance issues is essential in performing the duties of this position.
- Must be able to read, understand, and interpret work instructions and technical drawings.
- Record and report emergencies
- Must be able to support team members in a positive manner while setting an exceptionally high standard in support of Quality goals.
- Obtain and work with contractors for equipment installation and repairs.
- Implement and manage effective PM program.
- Carry out inspections of the facility.
- Participate in emergency planning and preparing facilities for changing weather conditions.
- Order tools, equipment, and supplies
- Maintain open lines of communication with departments to ensure projects and work is being completed.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme outdoor conditions (hot weather, wind, precipitation). The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
- Must be comfortable working on the roofs of office buildings and climbing ladders.
Qualifications
- HS diploma or GED required.
- Minimum ten years of job-related experience in a related maintenance role
- Proven leadership and supervisory skills; ability to train, develop, and mentor others.
- Effective oral and written communication skills with individuals at all levels, both inside and outside of the organization.
- Must demonstrate proven problem-solving skills.
- Must have a valid state issued driver’s license.
- Technical skills in manufacturing machinery and facility maintenance
- Ability to operate and repair warehouse equipment (Hi-lift, Forklift, Pallet Jack)
- Must work well under pressure.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as necessary.
- US Person as defined in 22 CFR Part 120.15 (U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and those given asylum in the United States, and temporary residents granted amnesty) since work includes ITAR controlled technical data.
Preferred Skills and Education
- Successful completion of an associate degree, technical school certificate program, and/or bachelor's degree
- Secondary certification in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, or other maintenance disciplines highly desired
- Five+ years’ experience in the maintenance and operation of a physical plant and/or building maintenance for a large facility.
- Lean Six Sigma certification highly desired.
